Amsterdam, the Netherlands, June 7, 2010 - Ahold has repurchased 679,800 Ahold
common shares in the period from May, 31, 2010 up to and including June,
04, 2010. The shares were repurchased at an average price of ? 10.3662 per share
for a total consideration of ? 7.05 million. These repurchases were made as part
of the ? 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 8,539,529
common shares for a total consideration of ? 86.9 million.
