New investor web-community launched

A new web community is being launched today - Xtrainvestor.com enables investors
from all over the world to efficiently exchange important financial information.
All members of the network use their real identities.
The new investor web community is designed to be a reliable investment tool and
fulfill numerous financial functions. XtraInvestor.com is a place where small
and large companies can form interactive groups for shareholders, stakeholders
and other interested parties. The community also provide an opportunity for
little known investment and financial analysts to build up their reputation.
Norwegian investor Lars Brandeggen, founder and director of the Xtrainvestor
Ltd., registered in Ireland, explains the reason he created the new online
community:
"As an investor, I constantly have the need for a system that will assist my
investment research. I have developed XtraInvestor.com in order to advance the
information distribution between investors around the world that feel the need
for such a collaborative system. My goal is to create a major international
investment online community".
The XtraInvestor.com community is an independent network, and is not influenced
by any brokerage house, investment institutions, or any other financial
organization. However, financial institutions and their employees are welcomed
to create their profiles, share valuable information and collaborate with other
investors.
All new members can join XtraInvestor.com only through an invitation from an
existing member. We will also accept individual applications from confirmed
investors in order to advance community growth and value. There is no charge to
create a member profile, but additional advanced features such as company
services, priority in searches, mobile phone services, etc. will be delivered
for a price.
Pre-launch surveys have shown investors need for an improved information filter
in order to avoid spam and disinformation, so common on other investment
websites. XtraInvestor.com ensures the highest security level through real
identity check, invitation-only membership, instant warnings and quick
suspension of faulty members. Member anonymity is possible only when
communication occurs in defined open groups.

Xtrainvestor's founder, Lars Brandeggen is 44 years old and has a master of
business administration degree. Before becoming an investor, Lars' professional
experience included work at commercial divisions in banks, analyst in brokerage
houses, and corporate finance/investment banking. Brandeggen has participated in
a number of start-up ventures. His best known start-up - 1880 Directory
Assistance, that was purchased by Findexa (later acquired by Eniro).
