Frankfurt, June 08, 2010 - Sinosol AG launches project holding in Italy
Sinosol AG is expanding its activities in Italy and has founded an Italian
project company located in Castelfranco together with its partner Metalco&Mazzanti Group S.r.l. The company has access to a pipeline of Italian
rooftop and greenfield projects totaling more than 200 MWp, which shall be
realized between 2010 and 2012.
With Metalco and Mazzanti, Sinosol has teamed up with two strong local
partners for project development and realization in the strategically
important Italian market. Mazzanti S.p.A. is a Florence-based construction
company with numerous reference projects in the field of
PV-rooftop-systems. Metalco S.p.A. is an internationally active metal
construction company based in Castelfranco (Veneto), offering innovative
solutions for PV-applications.
'Through our co-operation with Sinosol we have an internationally renowned
EPC partner with project experience in the construction of large PV-power
plants and a strong procurement capacity' ,says Maurizio Mazzanti, CEO of
Mazzanti S.p.A.
'The co-operation with Mazzanti und Metalco is an important milestone for
our plans in the Italian market. It has been arranged by Dr. Carlo Capponi,
who is heading the business development of Sinosol Group in Italy since the
beginning of 2010. The joint venture enables us, together with our
experienced and established local partners, to offer all services from
project development to construction and the operation of PV-power plants
