Ultra Lithium receives Interpretation of Geophysics

Vancouver, B.C., January 18, 2013 - Ultra Lithium Inc. (TSX-V: ULI) (“the Company” or “Ultra”) has received final geophysical models from Beijing Explo-Tech Engineering Co., a Chinese consulting firm that has been processing audio-magnetotelluric survey (AMT) data from Ultra’s Balkan projects in the Republic of Serbia.

The Company is pleased to announce that high priority targets have been identified on the Blace and Valjevo East exploration licenses. The integration of AMT resistivity, gravity, and geological data has revealed laterally extensive resistivity anomalies within the Miocene sedimentary package. Graphics of the interpreted AMT results and prospective areas will soon be available on the Company website, http://www.ultralithium.com.

In addition, geochemical samples collected from the Blace exploration license have been submitted to ALS Chemex in Romania and the Company anticipates results to return within the next 30 days.

The Company utilizes similar exploration criteria and methods as those used by Rio Tinto on its Jadar lithium and borate deposit, which has a JORC compliant inferred resource of 125 MT grading 1.8% Li2O and 12.9% B2O3.1 The Rio Tinto Jadar discovery has been classified as one of the world’s largest lithium deposits. Ultra is eager to further explore the anomalies it has uncovered on its properties using similar criteria and techniques.

Marc Morin, Ultra Lithium’s President & Chief Executive Officer said, “We are pleased to confirm laterally extensive resistivity anomalies at Blace and Valjevo and look forward to the results of our spring exploration campaign, which are expected to comprise of additional geophysics and geochemical work followed by drilling.”
