Noront Announces Appointment of Interim Chief Executive Officer
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/21/13 -- Noront Resources Ltd. ("Noront" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: NOT) announced today that its board of directors received the resignation of Wes Hanson as President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Noront. The Board has appointed Paul Parisotto to act as interim President and Chief Executive Officer and has begun a search to identify a permanent President and Chief Executive Officer. Ted Bassett has been appointed lead director during the period of Mr. Parisotto's appointment as interim President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Hanson has agreed to continue to be available as a consultant to Noront.
