Funkwerk AG plans transfer to open market
Share soon to be listed in m:access segment of Munich Stock Exchange
Kölleda, 21 January 2013 - The Executive Board and the Supervisory Board of
Funkwerk AG, Kölleda, decided today to transfer the listing of its shares
from the Prime Standard segment of the regulated market at the Frankfurt
Stock Exchange to the m:access trading segment within the open market of
the Munich Stock Exchange.
Funkwerk will be initiating the transfer by applying for admission of its
share to the regulated market of the Munich Stock Exchange and subsequent
listing in the m:access trading segment. Once its share is admitted to the
regulated market of the Munich Stock Exchange, the company will then file
an application with the Frankfurt Stock Exchange for cancellation of its
listing in the regulated market. The request for delisting is expected to
be accepted. Funkwerk's shares will subsequently be traded exclusively in
the m:access segment within the open market of the Munich Stock Exchange.
Funkwerk has opted to change segments primarily as this will significantly
lower its costs. The company also believes that the quality segment of the
open market (m:access) is better suited to its corporate structure. While
the transparency standards in m:access will give regard to the
shareholders' interests, this move will also ensure the continued
marketability of Funkwerk's share.
