LOROM Establishes a Field Application Engineering Center of Excellence in North America
New Center Will Provide OEM Customer Support, Strengthening Their Product Development Efforts
(firmenpresse) - CARY, NC -- (Marketwire) -- 01/22/13 -- LOROM, a manufacturing industry leader in global cable connectivity and OEM product solutions, today announced the addition of a Field Application Engineering Group to service product development opportunities for LOROM in North America. This strategic addition to LOROM's leadership reflects a continued focus on LOROM's high performance cable assembly capabilities and high speed EMaxx cable assemblies announced earlier this year.
The Field Application Engineering Group will focus on product development with existing OEM customers as well as establishing opportunities with new customers in the wide array of product areas that match LOROM'S extensive manufacturing capabilities. The new group will also lead the development of the company's technology platforms to service all of LOROM'S current market segments and customer base. James Baker will lead LOROM's Field Application Engineering Group in the United States as Field Application Engineering Manager and will report to Henning Hansen, COO of LOROM North America. Prior to joining LOROM, Mr. Baker held several technical posts during his thirty-five year career in the Wire and Cable Industry.
