Michael Dresden Named Executive Vice President at Dart Appraisal
(firmenpresse) - TROY, MI -- (Marketwire) -- 01/23/13 -- Dart Appraisal today announced the promotion of Michael Dresden to executive vice president of sales and operations from vice president of operations. The announcement was made by Darton Case, founder and president of Dart Appraisal.
In this newly created role, Dresden will oversee the company's sales and operations departments to streamline and improve Dart Appraisal's customer experience. Working closely with Vice President of Sales Wendy Minter, he will manage sales team initiatives and goals as the company prepares for another record year in both total units and new business development in 2013. Additionally, Dresden will continue to direct the customer service and auditing teams with Operations Manager Luke Buikema. Together, they will work to align operational strategy with customer needs, developing customized integrations to Dart Appraisal's systems and operations as the industry evolves.
The restructuring of responsibilities within the company represents Dart Appraisal's commitment to elevating the customer service experience through integration of all facets of the appraisal management process. With two decades of appraisal experience behind Dart Appraisal, Dresden is well-positioned to develop solutions that exceed customer expectations.
The promotion was made in recognition of Dresden's significant contributions in leading the company through several recent growth initiatives including an IT transition, changes in the structure and work processes of the operations team, and the move to a new building which is twice the size of the company's previous location, said Case. In 2012, Dresden was promoted to vice president of operations after spearheading the re-engineering of Dart Appraisal's customer service systems and operations.
As a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Dresden remains committed to continuous improvement efforts. At Dart Appraisal, he continues to formulate corporate culture around the company's four core values: positive attitude, sense of urgency, solution focused and digging deeper.
Dresden holds a bachelor of science from Illinois State University, where he served as president of the Pi Sigma Epsilon marketing business fraternity. He is an active member of the Royal Oak First United Methodist Church, where he serves as Finance Chairperson. He currently resides in Birmingham, Mich.
