Call for Papers: International Agricultural Engineering Conference
Call for papers for the 71st international conference "LAND.TECHNIK - AgEng 2013" on 8th and 9th November 2013: proposals should be submitted by 7th March
(PresseBox) - On 8th and 9th November 2013 the VDI Wissensforum is holding the 71st international conference LAND.TECHNIK - AgEng 2013 in Hannover, Germany. This conference takes place every two years as a prelude to AGRITECHNICA, the agricultural machinery fair. Under the motto "Components and Systems for Better Solutions" the focus is on current developments in agricultural engineering and the latest research findings.
The close collaboration between the technical sponsor, the VDI Max Eyth Society for Agricultural Engineering (VDI-MEG) and the European Society of Agricultural Engineers (EurAgEng) has resulted in the conference becoming the leading event of its type.
The call for papers is the starting shot for those interested in presenting a paper. At this two-day conference, speakers will look at current developments in the fields of tractors, the power train, electric drives and mobile hydraulics, electronic components, sensor systems and automation. Other topics covered at the conference will include navigation, soil protection and tillage, crop protection and harvesting technology, precision farming, production of bioenergy and industrial product development.
Chairman of the program committee is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thorsten Lang of the Institute for Mobile Machinery and Commercial Vehicles of the Technical University of Braunschweig. The language of the conference will be English.
