management

Munich, January 29, 2013 - Centrosolar, a member company of CENTROSOLAR
Group AG, has been awarded the 'Top Brand PV Seal' for the French market by
the independent market research institute EuPD Research. This seal
acknowledges that Centrosolar is one of the most popular international
brands in the industry. The award confirms the company's successful brand
positioning in France and the success of its consistent
internationalisation strategy. Centrosolar has specialised in smaller and
medium-size roof systems for private houses and carved out a strong
competitive position for itself in that market segment. Its main success
factors include a capillary sales network, plus the proximity to customers
that comes from the company's area-wide sales organisation. Its unique
advantages include excellent technical support, extensive training
arrangements and a comprehensive range of services in many regions
worldwide.
Centrosolar has pursued an international strategy from the outset. With an
export ratio of almost 70 percent (2012), the company is ranked among one
of Germany's solar businesses with the highest export sales. Part of its
strategy is to enter a market early and establish its own subsidiary there.
The French subsidiary based in Lyon was founded in 2007 and has developed
into one of the leading providers of premium photovoltaic modules.
Centrosolar is a market leader in modules for rooftop integration.
The market research institute EuPD Research awarded the 'Top Brand PV' seal
to the ten best-known module and inverter brands in the solar industry. Its
verdict was based on a representative survey of installation engineers in
France. The award entitles Centrosolar to display the 'Top PV Brand' seal,
providing customers with an extra pointer in a market that is becoming
increasingly differentiated.
