With over 20 years of software sales experience, Maiers brings a successful track record of building and managing high-growth, enterprise-class sales organizations to Topsy.

Maiers joins Topsy from Ziff Davis B2B Focus, where as vice president of sales he more than doubled revenue in less than two years and drove the successful acquisition of Focus Research by Ziff Davis Media. Prior to Ziff Davis, Maiers served as area vice president of sales at salesforce.com, where he drove innovative pipeline generation and sales execution strategies to increase revenue while aggressively expanding the sales organization. Maiers' prior roles also include serving as vice president of sales at AmberPoint; area vice president of sales at webMethods; and various sales and sales management positions at Forte Software and Franz, Inc.
