SCHNEIDER KREUZNACH presents new cementing station at OPTATEC

ID: 22468

(PresseBox) - Schneider-Kreuznach is focusing on special devices for optical production at OPTATEC this year. One highlight is the new cementing station (VP 30532), which is used to accurately center two lenses in an optical system and subsequently test the result. ?Our new cementing device is more precise than any other one on the market when it comes to measuring the so-called centering error,? says Lothar Völker, head of the Industrial Optics division at Schneider-Kreuznach.
When developing this new cementing device, Schneider-Kreuznach engineers made sure that it can be incorporated seamlessly into existing production processes. This is helped not only by its semiautomatic functionality, its low-vibration and ergonomic design and modular construction, but also by the autofocus adjustment of the operating point of the measuring head and extremely short set-up times thanks to the reflected image method without the use of auxiliary lenses as well as by database connectivity. Schneider-Kreuznach sets itself extremely high standards in terms of lens quality and quality control. It is therefore logical for the company to develop its own measuring and centering devices.
Schneider-Kreuznach will be presenting its new products in the field of optical production and quality control at booth E39 in hall 3.0 of the OPTATEC in Frankfurt/Main from 15 to 18 June 2010.
