OMNINET launches OMNITRACKER Version 10.1
Eckental, Germany - New OMNITRACKER version 10.1 builds upon the success of the previous major release 10.0.
(firmenpresse) - OMNINET – The supplier of the OMNITRACKER Business Process Platform, providing a wide range of business process templates as "out-of-the-box"-solutions such as IT Service Management (compliant to ITIL V3), Project Management, Requirements Management and others, has just released OMNITRACKER version 10.1.
The definitive highlight of OMNITRACKER Version 10.1 is the support of Multi-Server Architecture (MSA) in virtualized environments. The major advantages of the native transparent Multi-Server OMNITRACKER cluster, which has originally been introduced in V10.0, – a giant performance gain, horizontal scalability, and resiliency – can now take maximum effect when combined with the flexibility and resource efficiency of virtualization.
Further major features of OMNITRACKER Version 10.1 include
- Advanced editing capabilities within the new script editor, like
o Syntax error highlighting
o Code completion
o Configurable code snippets
o Much more
- various new features in the Web Gateway, such as:
o Automated object completion through field mappings
o A calendar view
o Tabbed object browsing
o Breadcrumb navigation
o Improved usability, look & feel
- An external scheduler for tasks, imports and full-text search index updates
Additionally, OMNITRACKER now supports SQL Server 2012, Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012.
The Web Gateway is clearly a focus of this release, a development OMNINET plans to continue with subsequent releases like the upcoming V10.2 – that revolves almost exclusively around improved Web Gateway usability – and V10.4 when a new form editor will become available.
