With these certifications in place, the is now a COTS solution proven suitable for deployment in military and aerospace applications, saving DoD prime contractors the time and expense of performing such tests on their own in support of government programs.
Passing MIL-STD compliance tests ensures that the can operate in harsh conditions onboard un(manned) aircraft, ground vehicles, and maritime platforms virtually anywhere LAN or WAN connectivity may be required. Designed with mechanical enhancements to support deployment of data, video, and voice services in extreme temperatures, shock, vibration, humidity, as well as exposure to dust, water, and EMI/EMC environments, this ruggedized Cisco IOS-managed Layer 2 / Layer 3 requires no active cooling, is completely sealed, and provides interfaces over MIL-DTL-38999 connectors.

Storage Temperature: -40 degrees to +85 degrees C / -40 degrees to 185 degrees F

Random Vibration: Jet, Helicopter and Tracked Vehicle Test Profiles
Humidity: Up to 95% RH, NC (Conformal Coated PWBs)
