MÜNCHENER VEREIN opts for COR&FJA's non-life insurance solution
(Leinfelden-Echterdingen, 24 June 2010) - The software and consulting
company COR&FJA AG has been commissioned by the MÜNCHENER VEREIN insurance
group to modernise its IT platform for policy portfolio and claims handling
in the composite insurance area (property, liability, accident and car
insurance - abbreviated in German as SHUK) for the private client and
commercial business. The company is going to achieve this by integrating
the standard software COR.FJA P&C (Property&Casualty) from the COR.FJA
Insurance Suite into MÜNCHENER VEREIN's system environment. The order
volume is at the lower end of the seven-figure scale. In this project,
which is soon to commence, MÜNCHENER VEREIN's IT environment in the SHUK
segment will be modernised and standardised and put on a
version-independent and scalable footing.
MÜNCHENER VEREIN had decided to use COR&FJA's standard software solution to
implement its project after carrying out a comprehensive analysis of all
the systems available on the market. One of the key factors in its decision
was the fact that the COR.FJA Insurance Suite was available as a modern and
service-oriented solution for all the aforementioned insurance segments
which basically provides efficient standard software components for
modernising the IT systems in the life assurance and health insurance
segments. This means that MÜNCHENER VEREIN is the second German insurer in
a short period of time to put its faith in COR&FJA's modern Java-based
non-life insurance solution.
