(firmenpresse) - BETHESDA, MD -- (Marketwire) -- 02/18/13 -- RioRey, Inc., a technology leader in Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) infrastructure protection, announced that products in the RioRey Perimeter Protection Platform™ have earned Common Criteria EAL4 Augmented with ALC_FLR.1 (EAL4+). Products certified include RE500, RE1500, RX1800, RX2300, RX4400, RG with RIOS Software version 5.0.12sp8, and rView Software version 5.0.12sp9, Validation ID10380.
The internationally recognized Common Criteria certification, awarded by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP), means that these products have been evaluated by a neutral third party and meet RioRey's claims for security features and capabilities.
The Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS) validates the evaluation of security functionality in commercial products. EAL4 Augmented with ALC_FLR.1 is one of the highest mutually recognized assurance levels under the Common Criteria Recognition Agreement (CCRA). The U.S. Federal government requires Common Criteria certification for all its purchased solutions, and the certification is equally valid internationally, accepted by government agencies and enterprises worldwide.
