Bell Investment Advisors Boasts Two New CFPs
(firmenpresse) - OAKLAND, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/25/13 -- Laurent Harrison, Investment Advisor/Financial Planner and Rohan Nayak, Financial Planner, both employees of Bell Investment Advisors, a registered investment advisory firm with offices in Oakland and Santa Rosa, California, have each been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP Board) to use the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™and CFP® certification marks in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements.
This means that both Mr. Harrison and Mr. Nayak have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework, and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. CFP® professionals also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold CFP Board's "Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Rules of Conduct and Financial Planning Practice Standards."
Mr. Harrison, who was born in Paris and educated in the United States, joined the firm as an Intern in 2009, while enrolled in the Financial Planning Certification program at the University of California-Berkeley Extension Program. In 2010, he was promoted to Financial Planner and became a key member of Bell's Financial Planning team. In 2011, he was promoted to the dual position of Investment Advisor/Financial Planner.
Mr. Nayak, who was born and raised in Mumbai, India and educated in the United States, joined the firm as a Paraplanner in 2010 after graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and completing the Personal Financial Planning Program at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He was promoted to Financial Planner in 2012 and has become a key member of the Financial Planning team.
