The HOFMANN dosing technology now also provides high-pressure (airless) spraying of two-component spraying technologies in a 98:2 proportion. Advantages: there is only one container for the basic component and only the spray gun needs to be purged.
Two-component high-pressure (airless) spraying 98:2 just one container saves on purging agent, preve(firmenpresse) - HOFMANN, the market leader for road marking technology located in Rellingen, Germany, introduced high-pressure (airless) spraying of two-component sprayable plastics in a mixing proportion of 98:2 already in 2005. "This new 98:2 technology has become so proven and established in the industry that only this is demanded," says Torsten Pape, Head of Sales and Marketing at HOFMANN.
The fact that this technology only requires one main-material container is just one of the reasons for the success of this new application that can be used in the distance-dependent as well as for the non distance-dependant mode of application.
This immediately eliminates the danger of confusion when filling the various basic components. And: the hardener is first mixed as precise, pulsation free (!) and very fine stream in the spray gun. This reduces detergent consumption to a minimum, because only the spray gun needs to be cleaned. That protects the environment.
The previous 50:48:2 method - also called 1:1 system - with initially two material containers is thus superseded.
