CyberLightning Releases New Version of Virtual World Tool for Business Presentations
(firmenpresse) - OULU, FINLAND -- (Marketwire) -- 02/27/13 -- CyberLightning Ltd. today announced CyberSlide 2.0, a new release of the presentation engine and conversion tool used to integrate business presentations into 3D virtual world environments. The new release adds to the company's portfolio of products for individuals and organizations to create virtual environments and explore the evolving 3D Internet.
New and enhanced features of CyberLightning CyberSlide 2.0 for Windows® include a free-flying camera for virtual world exploration, support of ultra-high resolution displays and additional stereographic viewing modes, full-screen viewing, and autoplay mode to replay a presentation in a continuous loop.
The new release is being demonstrated this week at the Visual Communication 2013 Exhibition (Stand 2b40) in Helsinki. A CyberSlide-created "virtual shopping mall," environment allows users to navigate between retail establishments and view PowerPoint presentations embedded into the virtual world. The navigation capability is a custom add-on to the core functionality of CyberSlide 2.0.

Converting a Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation for viewing in a CyberSlide world is easy. Users simply open CyberSlide, drag the desired file into a converter window, select the virtual world/scene to use, and run the show. They can choose display resolution and fine tune the stereographic output by choosing the best technique (anaglyph, passive, active, side-by-side) supported by the selected display. Presentations also can be converted to 2D or 3D video in standard or HD resolution.
CyberSlide 2.0 is now available for download direct from CyberLightning at . With purchase of three or more licenses, CyberLightning will integrate branding into a simple 3D world that supports up to 15 logos and contains 12 presentation display screens. CyberLightning also offers development services to create more richly featured custom worlds.
A single user license for CyberSlide 2.0 is 249 EUR. Three or more licenses are discounted by approximately 20 percent per user, with further pricing discounts at 10 and 50 licenses.
With release of the new version under individual, small group and enterprise licenses, CyberLightning now offers CyberSlide 1.1 as a free evaluation platform.
