Deutsche Rohstoff AG starts preparing gold production in Georgetown
Plan of operations approved/ Refurbishment of processing plant starts
Heidelberg/Georgetown, Australia. Deutsche Rohstoff Australia has obtained
the approval of tPlan of Operations for the Georgetown gold mine. Thereby,
the project has finally taken all legal hurdles. Refurbishment of the gold
processing plant in Georgetown has started on 1 July as scheduled. The
plant shall be ready for operation by mid September according to the
schedule. Afterwards, the operational sequences will be optimised before
the processing of the gold ores from the associated deposits can start in
October.
Deutsche Rohstoff Australia is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Deutsche
Rohstoff AG.
The Georgetown project currently holds approx. 155.000 ounces of gold and
165.000 ounces of silver, out of which 95 per cent meet the Australian JORC
standard. Deutsche Rohstoff Australia anticipates a monthly production of
around 2,000 ounces of gold and 2,000 ounces of silver.
Deutsche Rohstoff AG (Heidelberg, Germany), listed in the Entry Standard
segment of Frankfurt Stock Exchange, is establishing a new primary
producer. The company's focus is placed on gold, oil/gas and so called high
tech metals such as indium, gallium, rare earth metals, cobalt. All
projects are located in countries marked by political stability, the core
area being Germany. The business concept is based on redeveloping deposits
which have been well explored in the past. Production start is scheduled
for 2010.
