State Agencies Weigh In: Program Adds High Value to Economic Development and Directly Impacts Community
(firmenpresse) - SARASOTA, FL and MANATEE, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 03/04/13 -- The Urban Entrepreneur Partnership Inc. (UEP) announces the " Wednesday, March 13, 2013 4-6PM -- University of South Florida-Sarasota/Manatee Selby Auditorium. This address will serve as a community impact report for the UEP entrepreneurial coaching work in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
This UEP public address is an opportunity to hear first-hand from participating businesses from the Sarasota and Manatee communities and to understand the economic impact these businesses have had on the community due to receiving UEP coaching.
"Through its work in Florida the UEP hopes to play a critical role in strengthening the local entrepreneurial community and creating more jobs," says UEP Chief Executive Officer, Daryl Williams. "Community development is the vehicle by which this can happen, and providing entrepreneurial assistance to the local businesses of Sarasota and Manatee counties is an excellent start."
Spectators will also have the opportunity to hear representatives from the UEP discuss why it is essential to keep this invaluable program in this region, and hear why current UEP stakeholders see this as a high-quality venture.
The , an innovative one-to-one coaching program of UEP, Inc. was launched February 2012 and hosted by partnering organization, SunCoast Community Capital. Since then the UEP-On the SunCoast has received financial support from Wells Fargo Bank, Bradenton Central Community Reinvestment Agency (CCRA), and IntegraClick. To date, twenty-six local businesses from Manatee and Sarasota counties have participated in the program.
