Goldstrike Closes Additional Financing to Raise $3,000,000
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/04/13 -- Goldstrike Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: GSR)(PINKSHEETS: APRAF)(FRANKFURT: KCG1) is pleased to announce that its non-brokered private placement announced on February 27, 2013 completed on February 28, 2013. The Company raised gross proceeds of $1,300,000 by issuing 6,500,000 shares at the price of $0.20 per share, bringing the total amount raised during February to $3,000,000.
The Company will pay to Aberdeen Gould Capital Markets Ltd. cash compensation totaling $91,000, which is equal to 7% of the gross proceeds from the offering. In addition, the Company has issued compensation warrants exercisable to purchase up to an aggregate of 455,000 shares, which is equal to 7% of the shares issued by the Company pursuant to the offering. Each compensation warrant will be exercisable by Aberdeen to purchase one share at the price of $0.30 until the close of business on February 28, 2015. The compensation warrants are non-transferable.
All shares issued pursuant to the financing and any shares issued on the exercise of compensation warrants will be subject to a four-month hold period expiring at midnight on June 28, 2013. Proceeds from the offering will be used for exploration of the Company's Yukon mineral properties and for general working capital.
