NORMA Group AG to be included in the MDAX stock index
Maintal, Germany, 6 March 2013 - The share of NORMA Group AG, a global
market and technology leader in engineered joining technology, will be
included in the MDAX, the equity index for medium-sized listed companies of
the German stock exchange (Deutsche Börse) effective 18 March 2013.
Deutsche Börse communicated this decision on 5 March 2013. The NORMA share
replaces the share of the former MDAX component Vossloh AG.
'We are excited about this swift ascent from the SDAX into the MDAX. It has
taken us less than two years from our IPO in April 2011 to accomplish,'
says Dr. Othmar Belker, CFO of NORMA Group. 'Our business model and our
growth strategy are bearing fruit. The MDAX inclusion will give us access
to new investors and improve our visibility in the capital market.'
