Solange Launches Late Night at Arlyn Studios Concert Series Presented by Nokia Music and Verizon Wireless
(firmenpresse) - AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 03/11/13 -- Nokia Music and Verizon launched the Late Night at Arlyn Studios Concert Series last night at Raptor House in Austin, TX with an intimate performance by Solange. Solange brought the room to their feet turning the legendary studio into a dance floor.
The forty-five minute set included her latest single, "Losing You" from her critically acclaimed EP: True, with collaborator Dev Hynes. True is reflective of her journey as an artist, bringing listeners a fresh new sound, "with a breezy fusion of singer-centric R&B, 1980's pop, and lanky mid-tempo hip-house beasts," as described by Spin Magazine. Along with her success as a DJ, Solange previously released two albums, Solo Star (2003) and Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams (2008), which entered the top ten of Billboard's 200 Chart.

Nokia will also present the Roc Nation at Raptor House Concert Series in Austin, Texas from March 11th - 14th. As mobile partner, Nokia has joined forces with Roc Nation and Raptor House to curate a diverse lineup of music programming to coincide with the festival. Jim Pallotta's Raptor Group has taken over the historic Arlyn Studios in Austin, TX March 8 - 13 and transformed the property into the "Raptor House." Raptor House is the perfect "invite only" place to chill and relax in-between conferences and showcases.
The concert series will feature live performances that will take place throughout the week from Haim, Caveman, Body Parts, He's My Brother She's My Sister, The Mowgli's, The Postelles, Wardell, Vacationer, Kan Wa Kan, The Lone Bellow, Carousel, Elle King, The Blank Tapes, Maeyani, The Well Spring, and more. All performances will be available to stream live globally via Livestream
