Tickets Now on Sale for BLOXcon in Chicago, New York City and London


(firmenpresse) - SAN MATEO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/20/13 -- Due to the booming popularity of its annual summer user conference, ROBLOX, the largest user-generated content sites in videogames and the #1 entertainment platform for kids*, today announced that it is extending the annual event beyond its home in the Bay Area. Renamed "BLOXcon," the three events are scheduled to take place in Chicago, New York City and London in summer 2013. BLOXcon will continue to bring together game developers, players and tech enthusiasts of all ages to participate in a celebration featuring building, gaming, hack-a-thons, tech labs, education events and presentations.

"Listening to our users is core to ROBLOX, and BLOXcon is a unique opportunity for us to share ideas, get feedback, and discuss the future of ROBLOX in person with our worldwide user community," said David Baszucki, CEO of ROBLOX. Each BLOXcon will feature content exclusive to that event. Here are the dates and locations for the three BLOXcon conventions this summer:

The company expects to draw upwards of 1,000 people at each BLOXcon, tripling the attendance from last year's ROBLOX Game Conference.
