Tianye becomes Chairman of the Management Board
Hamburg, Germany, March 20, 2013 - The newly constituted Supervisory Board
of CBF China Bio-Fertilizer AG (CBF), consisting of its Chairman Mr.
Philipp Moffat, his deputy Ms. YU Xiaohong and its member Mr. TIAN Hu
accepted the resignation of Mr. Jiang Tiao, Chairman of the Management
Board on 18 March 2013. Accordingly, the Management Board consists of the
sole Management Board member Mr. Zeng Qun Liu.
Mr. Jiang Tao's resignation took place after he had sold his shares in Sino
Strong Overseas Limited, which holds with 60,8 % the majority of the shares
in CBF AG, to Mr. Dong Tianye (48). For more than 10 years Mr. Dong Tianye,
a Chinese businessman, invests successfully in agricultural industrial
companies. It is planned to extend the Management Board and to appoint Mr.
Dong Tianye as Chairman of the Management Board.
Bacteria-based biological fertilizer
CBF's bio fertilizer primarily consist of two different bacteria that, when
put in the ground with the conventional fertilizers convert phosphorus and
potassium into a form that is easily absorbed by plants. Using this bio
fertilizer reduces the need for chemical fertilizers by up to 30% and,
depending on the type of plant, boosts crop yields by up to 30%.

company is the market leader in the Chinese market for bio fertilizer. Its

boost crop yields. CBF is licensed by the Ministry of Agriculture of the
People's Republic of China.
The operating subsidiary of CBF 'Shandong Chengwu Jiuzhou Science and
Technology Development Company Limited' was founded in Shandong Province,
China, in 2005, with a view to exploiting biotechnological processes for
agriculture. After three years of development work, in May 2009 the company
launched its first bio fertilizer product based on microorganisms in the
Chinese market under the brand name 'Xin Sheng Li'. At present CBF
distributes its bio fertilizer in eleven of 26 Chinese provinces. The
company intends to expand to further provinces. CBF currently sells its
fertilizer directly to major agricultural cooperatives, plantations and
wholesalers in China.
