The Gallery Collection Announces 7th Annual $10,000 Create-A-Greeting-Card Contest
(firmenpresse) - RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 03/22/13 -- The Gallery Collection, a leading publisher of personalized , is excited to announce the kickoff of its contest. Entries are being accepted now through January 15th, 2014, with the winner being announced on March 14, 2014.
High school and college students 14 years of age or older, as well as members of the United States Military, can submit original photos, paintings, drawings, and graphic designs to be considered for the front of a greeting card. Thousands of entries are judged based on overall aesthetic appeal, quality of execution, creativity, and suitability as a Gallery Collection greeting card until one winning design is chosen. The lucky winner receives a $10,000 scholarship, as well as having his or her design made into an actual greeting card to be added to The Gallery Collection's extensive line. In addition to a personal scholarship, the winner's school will receive a $1,000 prize.
This year also marks the addition of a new prize. For the first time, one design will also be selected from a member of the United States Military to receive $1,000. The prize is a small gesture on the Gallery Collection's behalf to show thanks and appreciation to members of the United States Military for their service, as well as reward their artistic talents. All Military entries will still be eligible for the $10,000 grand prize.
