America's Prodigy Online Contest Name Is Filed

(firmenpresse) - MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- (Marketwire) -- 03/26/13 -- DigitalTown, Inc. (OTCQB: DGTW) announced today that it has filed a trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for the service mark "America's Prodigy."

DigitalTown is the holder of Americasprodigy.com and various other prodigy related domains.

The application lists its good and services as entertainment services, namely, conducting contests.

DigitalTown is in current discussions with producers and sponsors for its online contest across its domain network of 27,000 high schools. Surging record amounts of online voting is being done by young adults in this emerging market. Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards 2013 just finished with a record-breaking 387 million votes cast in 22 categories up from 220 million in 2012. International voting was up more than 3 times at 132 million.
