Women lacrosse players are not permitted to wear helmets like those worn in Men's lacrosse to purportedly discourage aggressive play. But surprisingly, most studies suggest the head injury rates for boys and girls are very similar. This is why Head Coach Nellie Kraus of the Quaker Valley High Quakers Lacrosse team is making available to her high school girls team with the BAND™ -- a lightweight, thin flexible headband that blends comfort with moisture management and protection. This is the first girls youth team to publicly initiate a team-wide initiative for head safety. They have already played two games wearing the BAND™.

The BAND™ was tested in an independent 3rd party ISO17025 accredited lab where they fired 60 mph baseballs at the headband and measured severity index ("SI") to the head, which the BAND™ reduced by as much as 50%.
