R. STAHL participates in the growing South American market
Waldenburg, July, 27(th), 2010 - The internationally active R. STAHL group
founded a subsidiary in Brazil. The expert for explosion protection takes this
important and constantly growing market for oil and gas industry into account.
R. STAHL do Brasil Ltda. has been founded in close cooperation with the previous
Brazilian representation Instrumentos Lince Ltda.. So the long-standing
successful cooperation in South America will be continued on a new basis.
Brazil is one of the BRIC-states whose markets grow extremely fast. The country
has vast oil and gas deposits. Many of these deposits will be developed within
the next 10 years. A double-digit growth of the investment volume for safety
technology relevant for R. STAHL is expected. Especially for the larger projects
that are expected it is more and more important for customers to have a
well-known partner that is internationally active. With location Rio de Janeiro
the company chose the centre of the Brazilian oil and gas industry
Marcel de Roure, up to now managing director of Instrumentos Lince, and Rainer
Nägle, an experienced R. STAHL sales manager, will manage the 100% subsidiary in
future. This management team stands for continuity in the long-standing
successful cooperation and experience in an internationally active group.
