(firmenpresse) - NORWOOD, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/02/13 -- is offering a broad range of Teflon® coated stainless steel or nitinol anti-stick that can be supplied cut-to-length for fuse welding and tipping operations.

Applied Plastics' for producing small diameter catheter tubing allow over 25% elongation without flaking and failure. Featuring a 0.5 dynamic coefficient of friction, this anti-stick extrusion, forming and provides a smooth, slippery surface to permit faster production and help assure optimum catheter tubing I.D. quality.

Capable of withstanding up to 315 degrees C (600 degrees F) service and chemically inert, Applied Plastics' PTFE Natural® can be supplied precut in 0.010" to 0.070" dia. sizes with +/-.0003" tolerance, depending upon size. Grit-blasted using a proprietary process before applying the release coating assures the coating will not flake or crack, claims the firm.

Applied Plastics' PTFE Natural® Extrusion Mandrels are priced according to size and quantity. Samples and quotations are available upon request.
