Brighton College Announces a 94% Graduate Employment Rate within Their Construction Drafting Technician Program
Brighton College, a British Columbia based vocational school and career college, has recently announced a 94% graduate employment rate within their Construction Drafting Technician program.

As a which offers students the opportunity to develop practical industry-specific skills, career guidance and employment strategies, Brighton College announced it now has a 94% graduate employment rate within their Construction Drafting Technician program.
"At the end of my program, I was sent to a construction management company in Vancouver to do my practicum," said Brighton College Alumni Alex Asipenka in a recent interview. "Shortly after my practicum, I found a great job in a local company!"
Student graduation rates within the Construction Drafting Technician program are currently 93% without practicum and 97% with the practicum. Additionally, the graduate employment rate for the Construction Drafting Technician program is 94%. In other words 94% of students who graduate from this program at Brighton College obtain employment.(1)

Brighton College offers three : a 32 week Construction and Drafting Technician Diploma, a 15 week Construction Technician Certificate, and a 14 week Construction and Drafting Technician Certificate. All construction programs include a 4 week practicum, which is required within the diploma program but optional for the certificates. Each program offers industry-specific such as constructions estimating, surveying, building codes, AutoCAD, etc. Additionally, Brighton College students gain experience with a 4 week hands-on practicum which increases graduate employment rate after graduation.
Students and staff are pleased with the level of success within the college, specifically the recent graduate and employment rate of the Construction Technician Program.
