(firmenpresse) - LONGUEUIL, CANADA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/08/13 -- Reunion Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE: RGD) (the "Company") announces that it has filed on SEDAR () a NI 43-101 technical report with respect of its Matthews Ridge Manganese Project supporting the initial resource estimate announced on February 21, 2013. The technical report was prepared by Mathieu Gignac ing., Rejean Sirois, ing., P. Geo., and Ahmed Bouajila, ing., of G Mining Services Ltd.
Reunion Gold Corporation, through its 100% owned subsidiary Reunion Manganese Inc., has assembled a large, strategic land position to conduct exploration and development activities for manganese in the North West District of Guyana. Manganese is the fourth largest metal consumed in the world, behind iron, aluminum and copper. It is a key component in steel and iron production with no viable substitute.
