TelVue(R) Unveils AdCaster(TM) Digital Ad Server
Unlocks New Revenue in Small and Local Market Ad Insertion

The AdCaster is a cost-effective solution for digital ad insertion applications of up to 64 SD or HD channels per unit, particularly suited to local markets, Tier 2 and 3 MSO line-ups, and low to medium volume applications. The AdCaster integrates with industry standard Ad Splicers and Traffic and Billing systems. The AdCaster is being demonstrated at the 2013 NAB Show at TelVue Booth #N623.

The AdCaster advanced workflow features include automatic ingest of schedule files and ad spots from network storage, and generating missing file reports and email alerts so issues can be addressed well in advance. The AdCaster creates Traffic and Billing verification logs, and includes native As Run reports. The AdCaster includes an integrated, browser-based management interface that can be easily accessed remotely and displays real-time status across all channels. The management interface also allows local scheduling and real-time overrides, important for sports workflows such as overtime games. The AdCaster can be scaled for higher volume applications by combining several units or by running as a Virtual Machine on a cloud computing platform.
