KBA-Metronic AG will become two companies
German Stuis (46) and Oliver Volland (41) are managing directors of KBA-Metronic GmbH (firmenpresse) - KBA-Metronic AG, a subsidiary of Koenig & Bauer AG (KBA) has converted its previous business divisions into independently operating companies on August 1, 2010 in order to take account of the different requirements of the respective customer groups and to create even more proximity to the customer for the market presence. Development, production and sales of digital and analogue labelling technologies for industrial applications (inkjet, laser, thermal transfer, hot stamping) are now carried out by KBA-Metronic GmbH. KBA MetroPrint AG takes care of the business with UV print systems for niche markets (foils, smart cards, advertising material, optical and electronic data carriers). The new name reflects the alignment with offset print technology. A basic objective of the independence of both areas of business also favoured by the Koenig & Bauer parent company is the increased utilisation of growth potentials in both market segments.
KBA MetroPrint AG is managed by the two current KBA-Metronic directors Holger Volpert (46) as CEO and Martin Rambacher (44) as COO. Oliver Volland (41), previously Labelling Sales Director, and German Stuis (46) who manages the Controlling Department and is simultaneously Authorised Officer for KBA, have been named as Managing Directors of KBA-Metronic GmbH. Oliver Volland has many years of successful work in the labelling sector. German Stuis brings well-founded business expertise from his 19 years of employment at KBA into the new GmbH.
