ETC BioMedical Systems Group announces the sale of one BARA-MED Select for
placement in Saudi Arabia
SOUTHAMPTON, PA, USA, April 10, 2013 - Environmental Tectonics Corporation (OTC
Pink Sheets: ETCC) ("ETC" or the "Company") will install a state-of-the-art
BARA-MED® "Select" hyperbaric chamber at King Saud General Hospital, the company
announced Wednesday. King Saud General Hospital, Saudi Arabia, is a hospital
under MOH (Ministry of Health) of Saudi Arabia.
ETC International Sales and Marketing Manager Jamal Radford said, "We are
pleased that King Saud General Hospital has chosen the BARA-MED "Select"
Monoplace Hyperbaric Chamber for their treatment solution."
The BARA-MED "Select" is the first monoplace chamber on the market providing a
unique gurney garage storage area for optimized space usage. It is suitable to
accommodate patients up to 700 pounds. The BARA-MED "Select" comes standard with
O.S.C.A.R.(TM) (Operating System for Control and Recordkeeping), an automatic
control system which allows for programmable treatment profiles.
All ETC chambers provide a patient-friendly pressurization alternative known as
SMOOTH-RIDE(TM). This technology minimizes complications due to middle ear and
sinus barotraumas without increasing compression time.
