Acquisition of Common Shares of Concordia Resource Corp.
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/15/13 -- David J. Birkenshaw ("Birkenshaw") announced that he acquired ownership and control in the aggregate of 1,730,000 common shares ("Common Shares") of Concordia Resource Corp. ("Concordia") following his acquisition of 25,000 Common Shares on April 10, 2013 which represents approximately 2.02% of the then issued and outstanding Common Shares of Concordia (the "Transaction").
Immediately following the completion of the Transaction, Birkenshaw alone owned and controlled 14,076,500 Common Shares, representing approximately 16.44% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares of Concordia.
The Transaction was made through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange. Birkenshaw acquired the Common Shares for investment purposes. However, Birkenshaw will review his holdings from time to time and may increase or decrease his holdings as future circumstances may dictate.
