Calling All Media: CineCoup filmmakers challenged to pitch the media. Did they get their angles right?
#CineCoup #BeBrave #BeCovered

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/17/13 -- This week, the Top 40 CineCoup filmmaking teams created a media pitch video, one-sheet and a kick-ass live (or virtual) event. Did they get their angles right? Are you hooked?
It's week six of CineCoup's 15-week accelerator program. Each week filmmakers develop their project packages and build audiences on CineCoup's social web platform. The project packages are essentially digital press kits with concept trailers, video backgrounders on the teams, posters and now media pitch videos. Check out their creative media pitches and digital press kits here:
If a pitch inspires you, moves you or completely offends you, sign up and leave a comment. Filmmakers would love your feedback - it's an important part of the accelerator experience! And if you're truly impressed, they would jump at the chance for an interview.
This week's mission was assigned by three seasoned journalists - national film critic and author Richard Crouse, trade journalist Danielle Ng-See-Quan and independent film critic and journalist Jason Anderson. Watch the assignment video here:
The Top 40 funnels to 15 during the next voting round April 25 - 28. The stakes are high. The Top 10 will be optioned for development. The Final 5 will travel to the to present to an industry panel. And one project will be selected for up to $1 million in financing and guaranteed release in Cineplex theatres.
