Now also on the iPhone: TecDoc becomes mobile
(PresseBox) - The data specialist TecDoc has developed an iPhone App and presents its data with this also to the mobile audience. The new user-friendly tool is called TecDoc Parts Decoder and is TecDoc?s latest development. Of course, the new application is adapted to the ergonomic and intuitive user concept of the Apple iPhone. The TecDoc Parts Decoder is simple and not overloaded. It is not a parts catalogue with vehicle usages, but TecDoc concentrates with this mobile application on the parts identification through directly entering article numbers like for example the OE parts number.
To begin with, the new software is available in German and English. All brands listed in TecDoc are found reliably and quickly with the app. People who are interested can of course download the application for free.
?The TecDoc Parts Decoder is perhaps the beginning of a big mobile future, even when mobile Apps are so far not omnipresent in Germany? comments Michael Krampe, Vice President Sales and Marketing International at TecDoc. ?Especially for international markets like the USA or Asia, parts identification directly via article numbers like the original number is very interesting. The TecDoc app is of huge help with the daily work.?
The free application contains also all usable drawings and images at TecDoc, which can be displayed without problems on the mobile equipment. ?Smartphones are spreading quickly?, Krampe is sure. ?They will also influence a lot of processes in the spare parts market and are becoming increasingly indispensible in the professional area, too. For us, it is only important, that these applications must be tailored to the use of mobile equipment and its target group. Then they will get used.?
