Cheba Hut to Hold Sandwich Eating Contest on April 20 for Chance to Win Free Subs for a Year
(firmenpresse) - BOULDER, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/18/13 -- Leave it to the nation's only marijuana-themed restaurant, Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs, to host one of the biggest 420 celebrations in Boulder, Colo. This is the counter-culture-themed franchise's 15th consecutive year celebrating the holiday dedicated to those who enjoy the "high" life of cannabis culture.
On April 20, Cheba Hut will offer customers a 420 special featuring a four-inch sub, chips and a drink for $4.20. As an added bonus, all meals will be served on collectible 2013 Cheba Hut Frisbees.
The first-ever "Sticky Icky" eating contest will take place at 3 p.m. Participants will have a chance to eat a foot-long "Sticky Icky" (the name of Cheba Hut's one-of-a-kind peanut butter and jelly sandwich) as quickly as possible for a chance to win free Cheba Hut for a year. All-day festivities will also feature live music from local bands.

Celebrations will take place at all 16 Cheba Hut locations around the nation, making it the country's largest 420 festival. The franchise estimates that 20,000 people will come through its doors on April 20 alone.
