NYGARD's Spring Fashion Show Supports the Fight Against Breast Cancer
(firmenpresse) - WINNIPEG, MB -- (Marketwired) -- 04/18/13 -- NYGARD International recently unveiled their at the NYGARD flagship store in Winnipeg, Canada during a fashion show that highlighted the company's ongoing commitment to eradicate breast cancer. Following the unveiling of the latest NYGARD spring fashions, ten very special models were presented -- all who currently have breast cancer. Their inclusion created a powerful statement of hope and courage which was met with a thunderous applause of support from the audience.
Prior to the evening's festivities, the show's breast cancer models were treated to a day of beauty including hair makeovers and make-up, plus each got to keep the outfits they modeled as a souvenir of the amazing night and a small token of appreciation and admiration from the Nygard family. All proceeds from the sold out event also went to CancerCare Manitoba for breast cancer research.
Celebrities in attendance included Lt. Governor of MB, His Honor Philip Lee, accompanied by his wife, Her Honor Anita Lee, along with Mayor Sam Katz accompanied by his wife Lea and daughter Kiera. "This was an amazing night for fashion and more importantly, reaffirming NYGARD's commitment to the total eradication of Breast Cancer," said Founder & Chairman Peter Nygard.
