Odfjell SE : Odfjell buys MT Bow Engineer
(Thomson Reuters ONE) -
Odfjell has entered into a contract for the purchase of MT Bow Engineer, a
30,086 DWT chemical tanker (IMO II) with 28 stainless steel cargo tanks, built
in 2006 at Kitanihon Shipbuilding CO LTD in Japan. The change of ownership will
take place early May this year.
Bow Engineer has been on time charter for Odfjell from yard delivery in 2006.
Instead of continuing the remaining charter period of five years, Odfjell has
agreed with the owner, Saito Shipping, to buy the vessel.
