Modular Laser Safety Curtain SHELTER LIGHT - Made by LASERVISION

(PresseBox) - Most of the commonly used laser safety curtains do offer protection against a direct hit of medium to high optical power. That's why they are more or less heavy and nonflexible to be folded. On the other hand there is a constantly growing number of applications requiring only protection against stray light of partly reflected beams of medium or lower optical power. A good example are lab-windows, because in most cases lasers are set up not to hit the window directly, but of course it is necessary to protect people against stray light coming out of the window.
In order to stay abreast of this increasing need of lightweight and flexible laser safety curtains LASERVISION is offering the laser safety curtain SHELTER-LIGHT; a new version of the well known SHELTER-NG laser safety curtain. Also this version is certified acc. to DIN EN 12254 (incl. M-rating) for the full wavelength range between 180nm and 11000nm.
The new, single layer laser safety curtain stands out in the same way due to high flexibility in his configuration. For that purpose standard panels of 90cm width are available with 2m or 2,5m height resp. These modules can be connected on both sides by Velco straps (standard). Alternatively they can be ordered stitched together and cutted to any width and length to cover the individual dimension of a window or door. Panels can be mounted with overlapping eyelets on the carrier system (cable, rail or rod).
As in the past the curtain can be mounted in frames or can be combined with the LASERVISION profile system. The combination of barriers, lamellas and window modules results in a great variety of possible configurations matching each application.
