ALMA MEDIA DIVESTS MASCUS, THE ONLINE MARKETPLACE FOR HEAVY MACHINERY

Alma Media is focusing on recruitment and housing portals in its international
marketplaces business and has decided to sell Mascus, an electronic marketplace
for trucks, heavy machinery and equipment. Alma Media is selling Mascus to its
Benelux license partner Mascus International BV, which is backed by Vortex
Capital Partners, a Dutch based venture and expansion capital firm focused on
technology companies.

The pre-tax value of the asset transaction is MEUR 11 and Alma Media will record
a non-recurring profit of approximately MEUR 7.5 on the sale in its result for
the second quarter of 2013. Mascus earned a total revenue of MEUR 5.1 in 2012.

- Over the years Mascus has expanded, but it offers limited synergistic benefits
to Alma Media's other marketplaces businesses. Going forward, we are focusing on
recruitment and housing portals in our international marketplaces business, says
Raimo Mäkilä, Head of Alma Media's Marketplaces business.

Mascus serves as an online marketplace for construction machines, farm
machinery, forestry, material handling and groundscare equipment and
transportation vehicles. The business has approximately 30 employees and 35
license partners.
