UET United Electronic Technology AG (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6), Eschborn,
presents financial results for its electronic group companies for fiscal
year 2012.
ELCON generated a sales volume of EUR 30.4 million in 2012 which roughly
equals those of the previous year. ELCON's earnings before interest, taxes,
depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts EUR to 3.871 million and
thus increased by EUR 289k.
As a result of the regressive solar market Letron's sales volume declined
from EUR 15.3 million in 2011 to 11.2 million in 2012. Letron's EBITDA went
down from EUR -173k in 2011 to EUR -755k in 2012. In addition a
restructuring charge in the amount of EUR 754k has been booked on top of
the operating result.
NewTal, which is also part of the MANUFACTURING branch of the Electronic
Group, generated a sales volume of EUR 9.3 million in 2012 (EUR 10.7 in
2011). NewTal's EBITDA declined from EUR 370k in 2011 to -415k in 2012.
Suconi showed a positive development in 2012 and generated a sales volume
of EUR 1.58 million which reflects an increase of 57 % compared to the
previous year. Although constantly expanding and investing, Suconi's EBITDA
improved from EUR -253k in 2011 to EUR -27k 2012.
In accordance with the general terms and conditions for the Entry Standard
of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange UET's annual report for 2012 will be
released on June 30th 2013. The audits of the annual accounts for the
operating companies of the Electronic Group are already completed. The
annual general meeting, initially planned for June 2013, will be held in
August 2013. The exact date will be released shortly in our financial
calendar on our webpage in the investor relations section.
