New AQUATRAN 2 for water vapour transmission rate measurement of high barriers

(PresseBox) - From 16th to 18th April Applied Market Information (AMI) hold their yearly conference ?Polymers in Photovoltaics? in Cologne, Germany. Main topics of that conference have been news and trends in the photovoltaic industry, mainly concerning backsheet films and encapsulants.
Paul Lippke Handels-GmbH presented MOCON?s permeation measurement equipment, especially the new water vapour transmission rate (WVTR) test system AQUATRAN Model 2 with its best sensitivity of 0,00005 g/m²/day.
Especially organic solar cells need a high protection against moisture to reach a long shelf life. Therefore the audience has been very interested in the new AQUATRAN 2.
