Optimum Group Becomes a Partner of the Fondation Du Dr Julien

It is with great pride that the Optimum Group partners with the Fondation du Dr Julien, whose mission is to enable each child to develop their full potential, in compliance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child. For our company, the support of social causes that are important to us is an essential gesture. Indeed, in recent years Optimum Group has been increasingly concerned with its social commitment and contribution to the advancement of certain social issues.
For 2013, Optimum Group made a donation which contributed to the success of the 2nd Community Social Pediatrics Symposium organized by the Fondation du Dr Julien. The Symposium was held on April 11 and 12 at the Montreal Science Centre in the presence of Optimum Group executives (photo). A portion of this amount will also allow implementation of the summer program of the Ruelle animee, a project developed by the Foundation in 2008, which offers local youth a safe place to have fun, supervised by a team of educators.

The mission of the Fondation du Dr Julien is to enable each child to develop to his/her own full potential in compliance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Each year, it provides direct services to more than 2,000 vulnerable children and their families through its two community social pediatrics centres, l'Assistance d'enfants en difficulte and le Centre de services preventifs a l'enfance, and through the Garage a musique. The Fondation is also involved in disseminating knowledge to students and professionals from various backgrounds, as well as to the community to influence intervention practices within vulnerable populations. The Fondation also supports the mobilization of a Community Social Pediatrics Movement in the country and elsewhere in the world.
