CLEVELAND, May 9, 2013 - The Lubrizol Corporation announces a new partnership
between its Engineered Polymers business and Trexel, Inc., to be the preferred
polymer supplier for Trexel's MuCell(®) foaming technology. Trexel provides
world-class engineering support, training and other design and processing
services, as well as the equipment and components integral to the MuCell
process.

Combining Lubrizol's Engineered Polymers Estane(®) TPU (thermoplastic
polyurethane) product, with MuCell physical foaming technology, creates highly
elastic microcellular parts that excel in energy absorption and cushioning
applications. Beside superior compression properties and a fast molding cycle,
Estane microcellular foams can provide a high-quality, thin skin layer that adds
aesthetic values, as well as the typical advantages of TPU such as outstanding
abrasion and cut resistance.

Working together, Lubrizol Engineered Polymers sports and recreation business
and Trexel will be able to bring an encompassing value to processors from
setting up a new MuCell molding line, modifying an existing line or offering
suggestions on which polymer grades to utilize for quality foam parts. In
addition, brands with post-consumer recycling programs* in place - or planning
for them - may appreciate the fact that Estane foam contains no foreign chemical
additives such as chemical blowing agents or crosslinkers.

Gert-Jan Nijhuis, sports and recreation global business director for Lubrizol
Engineered Polymers, noted "Our cooperation with Trexel is a direct result of
Lubrizol's strategy to be a solution provider to the sports and recreation
industry. It allows us to combine our innovative polymer technologies with the
latest manufacturing technologies. This enables us to bring a unique value not
only to processors, but also to global OEMs and ultimately the consumer."

"We are excited about our new partnership with Lubrizol, the provider of Estane.
Our joint customers will greatly benefit from our co-development efforts for
MuCell-foamed Estane, providing a lighter injection molded part with improved
energy absorbency for consumer sports and recreation applications," said Steve
Braig, president & CEO of Trexel Inc.

Estane Engineered Polymers are highly versatile, thermoplastic elastomers that
can be utilized in film and sheet, extrusion, blow molding, injection molding,
over molding, calendaring and solution coating processes for applications in the
industrial, sports and recreation and electronics industries. For more

About Trexel and the MuCell(®) Process
The MuCell(®) Microcellular Foam technology from Trexel Inc. is a complete
process and equipment technology that enables the production of high quality
plastic parts with significantly enhanced dimensional stability, lower
weight/material and reduced cycle time. MuCell(®) technology involves the
introduction of precisely metered quantities of atmospheric gases (nitrogen or
carbon dioxide) in the plasticizing unit of an injection molding machine to
create a microcellular material structure in the end product. The creation of
these microcellular structures brings a wide array of benefits including an
increased part quality along with reduced production costs.

Trexel, Inc. has led the development of the MuCell(®) Microcellular foaming
technology and has pioneered many plastic processing solutions. Process
deployment, as well as equipment, is supported by teams of highly qualified
engineers through Trexel subsidiaries in North America, Europe, and Asia. For
