First Truly Portable 40/100G - NIC NXG and Battery-Powered NIC BP

PETERSBURG, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 05/14/13 -- Digital Lightwave, Inc., a provider of optical test equipment and technologies for the telecom industry, today announced that their industry-leading 40/100G solution is now available in the NIC NXG and NIC BP (Battery Power) chassis. Both chassis types are designed for easy transport and are small enough to fit under an airline seat. The Digital Lightwave NIC Platform provides solutions for lab, manufacturing and field personnel enabling validation and troubleshooting of network rates from 1.5Mbps to 100Gbps.

Digital Lightwave's CSA 4100 module, supporting 40/100G testing, was released in 2012 for the NIC Plus portable and NIC EP rackmount chassis, supporting multi-port, multi-protocol test solutions, including dual 40/100G, 1.5Mbps to 100Gbps testing in a single unit, and simultaneous testing of 1GigE, 10GigE, 40GigE, and 100GigE. The flexible NIC Platform supports simultaneous multi-port/multi-rate testing, simultaneous multi-user local and remote operation, advanced automation capabilities, and uniform test setup and workflow across all interfaces and technologies.
