CATHARINES, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/16/13 -- BMO invites members of the media and community of St. Catharines to the local BMO branch on Tuesday, May 21st, to celebrate with St. Catharines Roma U12 girls who have been named BMO Team of the Week. The celebration will include the presentation of a $500 cheque for the team and a $500 donation to a charity of the team's choice, both on behalf of BMO.
BMO's Team of the Week program, recognizes teams that demonstrate team pride, spirit, community involvement and passion for the game.

"They take their game very seriously, but also remember to celebrate the joys of just playing, and how important it is to be active within the community and support the younger generation. BMO Team of the Week is Canada's premier sport celebration at the grassroots level, engaging a nation and inspiring communities by recognizing youth soccer teams who demonstrate team pride, team spirit, community commitment and passion for the game. Fifteen weekly winners will be named BMO Team of the Week starting April 17, and entered for a chance to be voted by Canadians as BMO Team of the Week 2013 Champion. The grand prize includes a $125,000 refurbishment of their community soccer field and a road trip to a Toronto FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Montreal Impact FC, or Canadian National Team home game. Former BMO Team of the Week Champions include Glen Shields Sun Devils 2000 (2011) and Ladner Storm (2012).
